Interpreter Services

All Orlando Locations

To help you understand everything about your child’s care, we offer language interpretation services (including American Sign Language) upon request.

Language Interpretation

When you make an appointment, let your patient representative know if you need an interpreter. Depending on the need and availability, we will either arrange to have an interpreter here in person for your visit, or an interpreter on the telephone who speaks your language — free of charge.

Phone Interpreter Service

Our phone interpreter service is available in almost every language — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for both inpatients (staying in the hospital) and outpatients (coming in for an appointment or procedure then going home). This service allows caregivers to speak to you and your child through an interpreter on the telephone. Any of our caregivers can help you connect to this service whenever your child needs our care.

American Sign Language

We also meet the communication needs for children with hearing loss and their families. When you make an appointment for an outpatient visit (like a specialty care visit) please let your patient representative know if you need American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation. We will provide assistance through an interpreter, or though video interpretation services.
