Major External Grant Awards

About Our Grants & Contracts

ÌÇÐÄVlog Children's researchers receive funding from a wide range of foundations, partnerships, corporations and government agencies. Some have names you know, such as the National Institutes of Health, Muscular Dystrophy Association and a variety of pharmaceutical companies. Others are less well-known, including smaller foundations set up by the families of children who have come to us for care.

ÌÇÐÄVlog biomedical researchers also receive significant funding from the ÌÇÐÄVlog Fund for Children’s Health, which offers numerous ways to support our pediatric care and research efforts. No matter where our research funding comes from, the organizations that support us share a firm belief in our singular focus on the advancement of pediatric health care for children everywhere.

We take pride in the volume and variety of our funding sources, because each one attests to the:

  • Quality of our research
  • Relevance of our results
  • Responsibility and transparency of our stewardship
  • Ingenuity of our thinking
  • Quality of our research infrastructure

Featured Grant

The ÌÇÐÄVlog Center for Pediatric Research is funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Centers of Biomedical Research (COBRE) and is unique among NIH COBREs for its pediatric focus.
