Why I Treat Children

I completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology in which I primarily worked with adult patients, however I still felt connected to the younger women and adolescents that came to our clinic. As I was initially torn between pursuing a career in pediatrics or OB/GYN as a medical student, I found that the field of pediatric and adolescent gynecology allowed me to pursue both of these interests. And I love working with children and teens — they are resilient and full of energy, which is often contagious.

What I'm Passionate About

I’m passionate about empowering girls and teens to make healthy choices through crucial moments in their youth by providing them with useful information to help in guiding those decisions.Outside of work, I am passionate about culinary experiences, travel and spending time with my family.

How I Try to Make A Difference

I believe in treating my patients in a manner in which I would want my own family members to be treated. I try to be nice to everyone I meet, from coworkers to patients and their families. I also believe in providing comprehensive care for girls and teens — in a non-judgmental, friendly and confidential manner.
