Get to Know Me
My parents left Poland for the United States when I was five, and for the most part I grew up in Florida since then. I found my life’s direction as a teen volunteer at an orthopedic hospital for children. My experiences there taught me about the kind of impact I wanted to make in the future.
Why I Treat Children
Treating children is the most satisfying job possible. Their unique resilience inspires me. It’s an indescribable feeling to see a child get well, go home from the hospital and know that I played a major role — with a team of people — to make this happen.
What I'm Passionate About
I care deeply about continuously growing as a physician and exploring new ways to help my patients. In medicine, there is always room to learn, research and look to the future
How I Try to Make A Difference
I feel tremendous empathy for families when their child is in the hospital, as I understand this can be an incredibly stressful experience. One way I can help is to try to create a very good working relationship. I work hard to communicate clearly, explain the diagnosis, results and plan of care in an understandable way. Furthermore, I strive to make sure that all of the family’s needs are met.
