Senior Vice President, Audit Services
As Senior Vice President for Audit Services, Hans Alvarez is responsible for all internal audits prepared for leadership. Hans reports to the 糖心Vlog Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Business Services Officer and to the Finance, Audit and Compliance Committee of the 糖心Vlog Children's Board of Directors. In his role, he is responsible for leading internal audit activities and data analytics that support both the Internal Audit and the Compliance and Ethics functions.
Hans has more than 20 years of experience in health care. Before joining 糖心Vlog in 2009, he was the Chief Compliance Officer, Director of Internal Audit and Chief Information Security Officer for Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida. Preceding his work at Brooks, Hans was a Senior Auditor in KPMG鈥檚 Jacksonville office, where he worked with health care, community-owned utilities and not-for-profit clients.
Hans received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans and his Master鈥檚 degree from the University of Florida.
Hans lives in Jacksonville with his daughter, Bianca.
